Service Description: Non-profit that works in partnership with local churches to provide assistance to the community and linking individuals to other services in the community *

The resource centre responds to inquiries and requests, connecting those who call with volunteers who are able to assist or making referrals to other services in the community that are able to assist with the request *

NeighbourLink services include: transportation for seniors , people with life-limiting illnesses, to medical appointments, food bank or grocery delivery, moving, form completion assistance, friendly visits and phone check-ins, and grocery shopping assistance

Fees: None * For transportation: client pays any parking fees
Application: Telephone interview, basic information and some indication of income
Average Waiting Period: 7 to 10 days for most requests
Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Individuals with no family or social support system * Seniors and those living with life-limiting illnesses * Physically independent and mobile * Must live withiin Steeles to 401 - Bathurst to Leslie boundaries
