Service Description: Micro loans up to $10,000 to assist internationally trained immigrants and refugees in obtaining Canadian licensing, training, or upgrading required for work in their profession * loan can be used to pay for exams, training, qualification assessments, professional association fees, books and course materials, living allowance and other related expenses

Fees: Loan repayment and interest charges * refugees -- interest free

Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Immigrants, permanent residents, provincial nominees, refugees, protected persons, or Canadian citizens born outside of Canada, living in a province or territory other than Quebec, and attempting to return to work in a field of previous employment in another country * lack alternate financial resources and do not have an undischarged bankruptcy
