Service Description: Literacy and Basic Skills training including numeracy, digital, communication and interpersonal skills
  • helps learners prepare for employment, apprenticeship, secondary-school credit, post-secondary education and greater independence

Application: Assessment required at intake; Call to arrange assessment
Eligibility / Target Population:
  • Ontario adults who are Deaf, deafened, or hard of hearing, aged 18 and older, who are employed or unemployed and receive income support, and who have reading, writing, and math skills below the Grade 12 level
  • Facility in American Sign Language may be required - check with service provider; must have facility in English
