Service Description: Full Dentistry Services for Adults
Comprehensive dental care for adults in the community, long-term care homes, assisted living residences, hospitals, and at Baycrest. The dental care
team provides a full range of services from assessments and cleaning to dentures and surgery. The team is unique due the experience in caring for people who have complex medical conditions. 

Services at the center include: - General and specialist dental assessments - Dental surgery - Dental hygiene (cleanings) and care - Dental X-rays (panoramic x-ray and cone beam CT soon) - Crowns, bridgework, dentures - Fillings and extractions - Endodontics - Periodontics - Prosthodontics

The dental care team is committed to delivering the highest quality evidence-based oral healthcare for patients who require treatment in a hospital environment. With a patient-centred approach focuses on disease prevention and management in a barrier-free environment. The state-of-the-art centre practises evidence-based geriatric dentistry and is a leading training centre, affiliated with the University of Toronto's Faculty of Dentistry.
The Alpha Omega Dental Centre draws clients from within Baycrest and accepts referrals from long-term care homes, assisted living residences, hospitals and dentists unable to adequately care for this population. As an academic centre, members of the Department of Dentistry conduct important research which shapes the care delivered to patients and which has wide policy implications.

Fees: Fees are charged based on the current fee guide of the Ontario Dental Association. Payment is due at the time of treatment. Our fees are not covered by OHIP.
