Service Description: Specialized programs support newcomers to Canada by offering short-term technical training that helps them secure a job in Canada as quickly as possible

Programs:

Engineering/Architecture - 15-week program for internationally trained civil/mechanics, engineers, technologists, technicians and architects. Provides participants with training in the latest technical; and software skills in demand by Canadian employers

Software Development - 15-week program for internationally trained professionals with a background in software development and related fields and featuring two specialized streams - front-end development and back-end development

Supply Chain Awareness, Technology and Employment - 12-week program for internationally trained professionals with education and experience in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Purchasing

Electronics Security Technical Training - 13-week program for internationally trained individuals with education and work experience backgrounds in repairing household and business electronic devices, including audio, video systems, computers and peripherals, office equipment, and other consumer electronics

Programs offered by Community Partners in Collaboration with Humber Polytechnic - Digital Marketing Connections, Electrical Engineering, Connections, Leadership Connections in Finance, IT and Consultancy

Eligibility / Target Population: Adults 18 years or older, with a post-secondary certificate or degree from outside Canada who are residents of Ontario and have international work experience in a profession or trade
