Service Description:

Day Centre specializes in providing stimulating programs and activities for community-based older adults- Range of social, cognitive, creative, physical, cultural, and spiritual activities offered in-person or virtually
- Comprehensive, evidence based, psychosocial programs to promote socialization and brain health
- Diet-controlled, full-course, supervised hot kosher lunch and snacks
- Toileting assistance
- Social Work case management services
- Social work virtual caregiver support groups
- Health promotion and disease prevention
- Respite for caregivers
- Referral access to Baycrest services
Program Highlights: *All programs listed are subject to change* - Professionally led daily exercise
- Reminiscence, creative storytelling, discussion groups, guest lectures
- Creative arts including painting, sketching, mixed media art projects, ceramics, art history appreciation
- Music programs and professionally led Glee Club
- Intergenerational programs in partnership with local elementary and secondary schools
- Cultural and holiday celebration programming and live entertainment
- Specialty programs including iPad, photography, horticulture, dance
- Outings and BBQs
- Virtual programming available to members
