Service Description:
|
Integrated approach for people living with problematic use of alcohol, opioids, benzodiazepines, cannabis, or other drugs
Services include:
- assessment of substance use concerns and treatment options
- brief individual counselling and psychotherapy
- management of acute alcohol and opioid withdrawal
- outpatient tapering for people on high dose opioids and benzodiazepines
- medication assisted treatment for alcohol, opioid, and cannabis use disorders
- group counselling (early recovery group and seeking safety group)
- referral to longer term treatment programs
- reintegration support for patients who have completed residential treatment
- education on overdose prevention and use of naloxone
